Installation instructions for
LEX-FBC-GN Grand National Front Bumper Cover
We have made the installation of your Front Bumper Cover as simple
as possible, yet we advise that you read the entire instructions
CAREFULLY. Take your time and apply some craftsmanship.
The end results will be worth the effort!
Place both bumper cover and fender extensions on the ground as they
will be installed on the vehicle. Line up front extensions
with cover so they align properly. Drill four 1/4” holes,
(evenly top to bottom), from fender extension to cover both
sides. Secure with 3/4” hex bolts, washers, and hex nuts.
Remove front bumper, (4 bolts per bumper shock). Disconnect
turn signals and remove from chrome bumper. Remove both
rubber fillers attached to sides and top of fender and header
panel, (save the nuts as they will be used to install bumper
cover). Remove chrome cosmetic cover from header panel.
Disassemble chrome bumper from inner bumper keeping cosmetic panel
located in top of inner bumper and reinstall inner bumper to
vehicle, loosely. Reinstall turn signals to cover.
Drill marked holes in sides of bumper cover, large enough for
adjustment when installed to front fender. Install cover to
vehicle by lifting from front bottom of cover leaving fender
extension angled toward the ground, so extensions will slide up
into wheel wells. Secure cover with hex nuts that were used
to secure rubber fillers. Install two 10/24 hex bolts and
lock nuts to secure cover to header panel at grill opening.
Note: additional attachments can be made from header panel
(in front of headlights)to cover, if need be.
With fender extension inside wheel well, drill and install a 3/4”
sheet metal screw. Pull slightly out at bottom center of
extension and install final 3/4” sheet metal screw.
To install intercooler extension to cover, simply attach with two
3/4” hex nuts, washers, and hex bolts per flange. Attach extension
to intercooler by installing three 3/4” sheet metal screws,
washers, and black Tinnerman nuts from extension to
intercooler.
